Glad you're enjoying it! Thanks so much for the lovely feedback. As far as the shield goes -- when Methos fought Keane, he kept holding his left arm like there was a shield on it. I got to wondering, and there you have it. I thought it was particularly ironic that Methos later stabbed Keane with the arm that he was holding out of the way.

As for the plot... it's coming. **hums ominous music**
