here we go... some actual plot.

May 18, 1976:

"This is not a good idea," Remus mutters.  He and Sirius are crouched under James' Invisibility Cloak, and hiding in the empty classroom across from Dumbledore's gargoyle.  It's hot and stifled, and Sirius really is just a bit too close for comfort.  Remus keeps having to resist the urge to lean forward

oh, the joys of your plots. you already know how cool i think this idea is, so let's focus on something else: ...while Remus tries not to stare at his mouth. i love that, made me laugh out loud. if only Sirius would wake up... :)

Let's hear it for plot! This is going to be fuuuuuuuuun!!!!!!

I keep waiting for Sirius to just all of a sudden, without thinking about it, throw his arms around Remus and kiss him soundly on the mouth. And I find myself longing for just such a moment. Or, if not that exact moment then the one where they kiss for the first time, no matter who instigates it. You've done a great job setting the scene and whenever I read a new update I have that nervous, butterfly feeling in the pit of my stomach anticipating that first kiss.

I think that McGonagall should have gotten some kind of medal after the Marauders graduated. Knowing Dumbledore, it's very possible that she did.
