i am officially in love with your sirius. god, i love how he just HAS to go see remus. can't leave the poor boy alone for a second, can he? ;D

another question, will this end up being backstory for DWYS, or something completely separate?

I'm thinking that this will be something completely separate, if only because this looks like it's turning into something resembling slash, and in the DWYS-verse they were both still pretty clueless at first.

Reading Peter in this Marauders fic, makes it very hard to see how Peter could have ended up betraying his friends.

I've always thought that Peter was not so much stupid as he was less gifted than his friends -- after all, he did manage the Animagus transformation at fifteen. If he'd made different, less talented friends, he might have ended up very differently.
