hah, politics.

i've been following this story for a while, but i've been too lazy to comment until now. :p i'm loving it. i like the way you write, it's descriptive without being too wordy. good plot, clever use of magic, nice pacing (plot and relationship-wise). I love how you show several sides of the story, remus and sirius, the aurors- moody and kingsley are awesome-, the death eaters, it's great! i've been waiting for updates and looking for good, plotty r/s AUs from this era (post-voldemort's "death") lately, there aren't enough of those in my opinion. and i'm probably not the first to say this, but phineas's portrait is made of win. i love his snark and the affection (if one could call it that) he has for sirius.

Oh, wow, I didn’t realize this fic was a WIP - I thought it ended rather abruptly! -blushes-

I liked the way you described the tea; in general you tend to have interesting opening paragraphs, quickly getting the reader settled into the atmosphere of the chapter.

I also like how you work in your descriptions of people - Major Weber, for instance, could have had a round face and blue eyes, but he has a “round, good-natured face” and “tired blue eyes,” and the description of his clothing shows us he’s worried, and hasn’t had much sleep or time to himself recently

Sadly, no regular posting schedule - my job is a little too crazy at the moment to allow that, and only likely to get crazier as the election gets into full swing. Everything pretty much just gets posted as I finish it and get it beta-read.

I've really been enjoying this, I also hadn't been expecting the slashyness so it was a nice surprise :)I like that it's all very frustrating, though not as frustrating as Sirius getting whacked straight into azkaban!
