Connor burped loudly in disgust.

I've actually had a baby do this to me, and it is not a pretty thing *G*.

I love this section. It's obvious to me that Connor is understanding what Lex is telling him, and responding with physical gestures. He's probably trying to send his thoughts as well, but "hearing" things telepathically is probably very difficult for a man who spent as much of his life, until recently, closed up tighter than the proverbial clam.

I've been working and fighting off being sick, but I'd like to write a bit more to this, if that's OK with you?

Please do write more. As I said, we have loose ends to tie up to bring this arc to a close.

And then the universe is fair game for prequels, sequels and meanwhile fics.
