And further up in the stands, a seventh year with bleached blonde hair leaning her elbows on her knees, and watching the spectators as much as the team.
She sees Tyler when he appears, and waves him over.

She's sitting by the bleachers, enjoying the autumn sunshine, and keeping one eye on the first-years to make sure nobody wanders too close to any of the many and various dangers of the Hogwarts grounds.
That wistful envy is familiar, and catches her eye. Steph was born to fly a broomstick, but the other players at Salem had years of practice on her by the time she could scrape up the money to own one that wouldn't fall apart. Oh, she's good now, but she never got a chance to play for her school.

"Oh, hi," she says warmly, a mix of honest friendliness and relief. She knows someday they are going to figure out she's in the wrong House and she'll likely get expelled for having the temerity to think she could be a Gryffindor.
This completely ignores the fact the Hat did the choosing, not her, of course.
