Apr 01, 2010 16:04

Calling all artists!

We have 117 amazing story summaries that have been split between two posts ( post #2 here). When claiming a story, please reply to the post it is in with the story number (so, claim 1-66 here and 67-117 in the other post). Please include your email address and your art format (art, mix, or vid) in the body of the comment. Summaries will be struck through as they are claimed.

Just a quick reminder, we're using the term artist as a very general term to refer to someone creating fanart (icons, drawing, banner, header, wallpaper, etc), a fanmix, or a fanvid for a story written during this challenge. Artists and authors will be working together to select a date at the end of the challenge to post their art and story to the community. More information is available in the FAQ, and feel free to let us know if you have any questions. Final drafts of art (though you may still continue to make any necessary changes or edits before your posting day) are due on May 4th.

Several artists have expressed interest in claiming more than one story. Please claim one story for now, claiming for a second story will open on Saturday, April 3rd. When claiming a story, please check the comments to see if the summary you're interested in has already been claimed.

If you're just getting here and want to claim a summary, feel free to join in! We just ask that you swing by our artist sign-up post as well.

1. Running for Cover
[The Covenant || Reid/Tyler]
Warnings: Slash, Language (NC17).

He risked everything to be his hero, but was the price too high?

Once, he’d been boy-next-door handsome, but now Deputy Marshal Reid Garwin seemed a dark, dangerous stranger!

When an old enemy put his life in jeopardy, a reluctant Tyler Simms followed Reid in hiding.

Five years ago Tyler gave all his love to Reid but it was not enough to keep them together and he wanted out, now Reid is back and must protect Tyler against an old enemy seeking revenge. Will Reid be able to protect Tyler? Will Tyler trust him enough to save him? Will love concur all in the end?

2. For Truth, for Duty, and for Loyalty
[Richard III || Richard III/Ratcliffe, side orders of Richard III/Anne, Catesby/Lovell, Hastings/Stanley, Hastings/Rivers, implied Hastings/Rivers/Stanley]
Warnings: Inexplicit slash, gruesome death, media fetishization of violence, science fiction violence, genderswitch of supporting characters (Catesby and Stanley), drug use, cosmetic paralysis (a la botox), technophilia, forbidding landscapes, major character death (as per source text), unexpected character survival, and vegetarian culture.

This science fiction AU places the fatal politics of Richard III on the fast-paced, tech-savvy world of Albia, where young Richard Ratcliffe has recently finished his training at the Imperial Science and Technology Academy. He is soon chosen to serve in the militia of York Province under the supervision of the charming and ambitious Richard of Gloucester, and in Gloucester's service he quickly learns that Albian politics are a deadly pastime. Richard of Gloucester rises to power after a series of spectacular, bloody murders, each of them broadcast in full color on holovision, and finally seizes the regency for his young nephew in a brutal civil war on one of Albia's moons. Gloucester's meteoric rise draws Ratcliffe ever deeper into the political machinations of the ruling family of York (and the amoral plots of Gloucester's coterie of supporters), even as Ratcliffe finds himself growing closer to the man he serves. This fic includes slash, het, poly, and friendship, a strong female main character (Catesby), and characters of color (Rivers, Queen Elizabeth and her children).

3. The League of Ungentlemanly Warfare
[Dark City/Mirrors || Ben Carson/Larry Byrne(Mirrors), John Murdoch/Daniel Schreber(Dark City)]
Warnings: Fairly graphic homosexual sex. Mentions of acts of violence and antisemitism by the Nazis. Absolutely no reference to canon beyond stealing the characters.

In Nazi occupied France, a British spy and a German officer must put their trust in each other to help bring an end to the war. Elsewhere, a German scientist that has been requisitioned by the British for war reparations will do anything it takes to find his twin, even if it means allying with the people who have kidnapped him.

4. The Big Bang Theory
[Pundits RPF || Anderson Cooper/Stephen Colbert]
Warnings: going to involve awkward m/m sex between two "minors" (they're 17, though legally they're still minors).

Our favorite talking heads (both real and fake) are in high school, dealing with whatever it is that high school kids deal with these days.

5. Untitled (tentative)
[Supernatural || Sam/Dean]
Warnings: Angst by the buckets - schmoop

Dean goes to visit Sam at Stanford during his sophomore year, wanting to check up on him. Sam is surprised, and a bit bothered, but decides to put up with Dean until his brother gets bored and leaves. Except Dean never does. - An AU that throws the entire show out the window. In which Dean is secretly (and stupidly) in love with Sam and vows to never tell him, Sam acts like an ass because his big brother just will not leave him alone and they both realize how perfect they are for each other.

6. Untitled (tentative)
[Sanctuary || Helen/John, Ashley and Henry friendship]
Warnings: Spoilers for The Five and some previous canon but no mentions of anything after that...Kate excluded

8. Time of Redemption
[SGA]
Warnings: Mild violence, drug use

Special Agent John Sheppard is an FBI agent set on protecting a witness. FBI!verse with John and Ronon friendship and several cameos by the other members of the team.

9. Bloodlines
[Earth-3/DCU (Batverse) || Femme!Jokester/femme!Riddler, some femme!Jokester/femme!Owlman subtext]
Warnings: Graphic violence, sexual content (f/f)

Takes place in a genderswitched version of the Earth-3 universe, a morally-reversed world from the DC Multiverse (Batman--Owlman in this world--is the villain, the Joker--the Jokester in this world--Duela Dent, Two-Face, and the Riddler are the heroes). Jokester and the Riddler follow Owlwoman to Philadelphia in the hope of catching the ruthless crime boss once and for all. Once there, they quickly find themselves involved in a murder mystery and have to find the reason for Owlwoman's latest murder while their captive plays deadly mind games with them on the long, dark road back to Gotham. (Loosely based on the Cold Case S5 episode The Road, but it's not a crossover.)

10. Untitled (tentative)
[AI RPF || Kris Allen/Adam Lambert, Kris/OMC, Adam/OMC]
Warnings: Dub-con, underage sex (I can't remember the word for it) angst. Pretty heavy stuff. Possible character death

Short description: White Oleander for boys. Long description is it's Adam's journey through foster care, then towards the end when he is about to age out he meets Kris and wants to protect him from everything that happened to him, not sure if ending is going to be happy or not

11. stand back and watch you shine
[AI RPF S7 || David Archuleta/David Cook]

If Archie had never been on Idol but still met Cook, how would his world change? When asked to step up and do things on his own, would he take the challenge? And in the end, where would it leave he and Cook?

12. Purity
[Supernatural RPS || Jared/Jensen]
Warnings: NC-17

Purity is a well-respected company that provides Life Companions for those wealthy enough to purchase them. They come from Clean Homes that are free of disease and are trained to be assistants, friends or lovers - whatever their possessor desires. Jared doesn't want a life companion but it's family tradition. When his Life Companion arrives, chosen to fit his specific needs and wants, he's a bit shocked that rather than a woman, he has a Jensen. Fortunately, there's a thirty day trial period to see if they are a fit.

13. Dean/Alistair fic of Doom! (working title)
[Supernatural || Dean/Alistair, background Sam/Ruby]
Warnings: Alistairness, so you know, mentions of torture and other horrible things. Dark and a bit creepy and no happy endings. Unless you consider Dean/Alistair a happy ending.

Dean may have been brought back from hell, but hell followed after him. Caught between losing Sam to Ruby, something Sam seems to be in favor of, and Angels that don't seem to care about him personally, Dean finds the only one telling him the truth is the demon that destroyed him. Slowly Dean finds himself being sucked back into Alistair's embrace.

14. Enough
[Spooks (MI-5)/Torchwood || Tom/Zoe (sort of)]
Warnings: Rated PG-13 for emo angst about disappearing people and lost jobs.

After being decommissioned from MI-5, Tom Quinn goes to Cardiff and that's when the strange things start happening.

15. Even Dragons Have Their Ending
[AI RPF S7/S8 || Adam Lambert/Kris Allen & David Cook/David Archuleta]
Warnings: some fairly graphic sex scenes but not too bad

Fantasy AU where Adam is a dragon & Kris is a bar owner, David Archuleta is a kidnapped prince & David Cook loves him

16. The Lost Episode Job
[Leverage / His Dark Materials fusion || Eliot/Parker, side Sophie/Nate]
Warnings: Nothing you wouldn't see on the show, so mostly the occasional bit of language here and there.

The Leverage team has to pull a job on an enterprising media mogul/game show host. Eliot and Parker play the part of an engaged couple competing on the game show, Dare To Win, while Nate, Sophie, and Hardison con the host into thinking they're part of a company that wants to bring more attention to Dare to Win than just airing on the local TV stations. So basically it's Leverage, but now with daemons thrown in the mix.

17. The Trees They Grow So High
[RPF - Classical composers || Peter Pears/Benjamin Britten]

On the eve of World War I, Benjamin Britten is a new boy at boarding school. He is assigned to fag for Peter Pears, a prefect and a tenor in the school choir. A friendship develops between the two of them, but are Britten's feelings more than simple hero-worship?

Amidst the patriotic fervour of wartime, Britten has to stand by Pears when the older boy's pacifist convictions make him unpopular with the rest of the school. After Pears leaves school they lose touch until, at the end of the war, a tragedy brings them back together...

18. Dynamics of a War [Transformers]
Warnings: Violence on large scale, character deaths, atrocities against individuals and groups alike will be present. This is a story set inside a violent, nasty war, so please bear that in mind if you choose to read.

Botcon Shattered Glass has become a staple of the idea of what Transformers' MirrorVerse might look like, and has been expanded on time and again in fanfic and magazines alike, yet... there is as much room for exploration there as in any of their other canons. Many takes on a MirrorVerse demand a complete inversion of the source material, but in this one, it is more of a 'what if' scenario. We've taken aspects of canon personalities, such as Starscream's past as a scientist, or Sunstreaker's artistic nature, and brought them to the forefront within the web of Shattered Glass's writing. Concepts from various canons exist, such as the Overlord, the Senate, Primus...and we've kept them in the same alignment as in a 'normal universe'. Switching the various characters on that backdrop is enough for us to paint our story...

19. Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!
[SPN RPF || J2, Malik/Gabe, Danneel/Katie, Sandy/Sophia, Richard/Misha, JDM/Jim]
Warnings: is bit of a gay fest a warning?

Confident and opinionated, Jared is a high school student who has it all.
He's popular, handsome, a model student, dates Genevieve, the head cheerleader, and is captain of the basketball team.

But he's also a vegetarian, likes Madonna and hates kissing his girlfriend, leading his horrified parents and his best friend and teammate Chad to conclude that he's... gay!
Their solution is to send Jared to True Directions, a "rehabilitation camp" run by homophobic counselor Samantha Ferris.

At first, Jared resists "rehabilitation", but then he meets Jensen, a physiotherapy major who shows him exactly what his "true direction" is.

20. Empty Space (tentative)
[CSI:NY/Criminal Minds || Don Flack/Emily Prentiss]
Warnings: blood. lots of blood. Possiblity of sex, but I haven't decided if I'm going to write that in yet.

There's a serial killer in the suburbs of New York and the BAU has been requested to provide a profile. The NYPD and the BAU decide to collaborate, sending an FBI agent and a senior detective undercover, posing as a married couple, fitting the same criteria of the pervious victims. Don Flack and Emily Prentiss haven't seen each other in years, but now, seeing as they have to pretend to be married, they'll be seeing a lot of each other.

21. With You By My Side
[CSI:NY || Danny/Lindsay]

Lindsay is working at a homeless shelter when one visitor catches her attention who only appears from time to time. Soon she speaks to Danny, the homeless man, for the first time. At first he refuses to talk to her but after an encounter where he protects her, he slowly starts to open up to her and she learns more about him and about his past. After a bit he also starts to accept her support.

22. The Captain and the Unicorn (Tentative)
[Marvel Comics (Avenger) || Natalia Romanova/Steve Rogers/Tony Stark]

Everyone thinks Tony Stark has it all; after all, he's the both the leading technologist and unicorn rider for the strongest territory in what's left of New York City. However, when Tony's past comes back to haunt him, even Captain Rogers and his mysterious lover might not be able to save him.

23. Chemistry for Beginners
[Supernatural || Dean/Castiel]
Warnings: slash

Castiel Novak is the new kid in school. His life takes an unexpected turn when he's paired with popular jock Dean Winchester for a science fair project.

24. Small Town
[Sports Night || Dan/Casey, Casey/Sally Sasser, Dan/Bobby Bernstein]

Welcome to Port Bowmore, Nova Scotia. Population 700.

Dan and Casey, roommates since college, co-manage the town's sporting goods store. Dan (who is not-so-secretly in love with Casey) spends most of his time hunting the local longshoremen. Casey (who is very secretly in love with Dan) is sleeping with Sally Sasser, the town's ambulance chasing lawyer. When Bobby Bernstein (genderswapped in this story) comes to town to recruit Dan for a GM position at SportChek in Halifax, Casey has to confront his feelings for Dan, or lose him to the 'big city'.

25. Choices
[SGA || John/Elizabeth]

When asked to join the Atlantis expedition, John Sheppard declines. Three years and one discharge later when Rodney McKay bails him out jail he finds that the woman who originally asked him to join the expedition, Elizabeth Weir, has become a runner - and he's the only one who can activate the device that can find her. The Atlantis mission was abandoned after a year, but John is left to team up with Weir's team that remained behind in Pegasus (Sumner, Ford, Lorne, Carson and Zelenka.)

Carson later announces that Weir has actually become a Goa'uld. But when John finds her he learns that she was outed, and he and Rodney team up with her and another runner she met along the way - Ronon Dex. Together they have to rush to save Atlantis.

26. Future Blues / Simple Twist of Fate (still deciding)
[The Professionals/FlashForward || Bodie/Doyle (main), Janis/Betty (secondary)]
Warnings: Language, violence, sex, and disaster situations.

In the wake of the blackout, two CI5 agents must deal with their own apparently contradictory flash-forwards: Doyle sees himself in bed with his partner, but Bodie sees nothing at all. As the future approaches, Doyle struggles to decide whether to tell Bodie what he saw, and probably cost himself a partner, or to say nothing, and let Bodie remain convinced of his own death. (Professionals timeline moved up to present day; FlashForward branches off from canon around "Revelation Zero.")

27. Crossroads (tentative)
[Transformer || Starscream, Thundercracker, Megatron, Skywarp, Skyfire, cameos by Wheeljack and Jazz]
Warnings: Realistic child abuse (including their inability to tell what is over-sharing), historically-accurate attitudes, Ojibwe, twist ending that may be squicky, and Starscream

Seekers are human living with abusive father and city cop Megatron in 1935, until he crosses the line and does an unforgivable thing that nearly kills Starscream (on top of being, y'know, unforgivable.) Thundercracker steals Megatron's car, coat, money and children, and drives until he can't see straight. He can't sleep, though, and meets someone who may be the Devil or may just be a crazy dude . The stranger gives TC his (ugly) hat, promising it will bring luck. In the morning, they make it to a small town, sell the car, and buy train tickets to Detroit. On the train, they meet Skyfire, who is either a really nice guy or an angel sent to help them. Three nervous breakdowns later, they arrive in Detroit and set camp at a cheap hotel. Megatron tracks them down easier than they thought (turns out Starscream is kind of memorable). Before he can find them, though, he gets killed in a mugging-gone-wrong while his children watch in a stroke of the Devil's own luck. The Devil returns that night to reclaim his hat and inform TC that yes, the mugging-gone-wrong was not coincidence, and in ten years TC will pay the price for such luck. TC is telling all this to his infant son on the eve of the ten year anniversary, believing he's going to die the next day.

28. Handfuls of Dust
[Bleach]

Officially, the summary is: Separated by years and lies, two friends find each other again.

This is a complete AU, set in a dystopian future ruled by martial law. The nebulous Threat are a formidable enemy and no one knows their origin. The Threat brought with them a virus that mutates ordinary humans into something else; something the Army that rules the people are very afraid of. The Infected have been declared the enemy, and are hunted as ruthlessly as the Threat are. In a society that wants them dead, hunted by both the Army and the Threat, the Infected are simply trying to live quiet lives.

Toushirou Hitsugaya is a former Army captain -- a squad leader and accomplished sniper -- who became Infected. After he was injured and found to be sick during a routine patrol, he was left for dead and reported killed in action by his subordinates. (This is all outlined in a previous story in this universe.) He left behind friends and family and, unable to contact them, he forges a new life for himself. Momo Hinamori, his close friend and a lieutenant in the Army, does the same. When Toushirou is captured by Colonel Ichimaru and Momo finds out distressing information regarding her new boss, General Aizen, Momo must face difficult choices. When she discovers that she is Infected -- deliberately given the virus by Aizen -- and finds the friend she thought was dead in custody, she frees Toushirou and defects.

29. This is Why (the Dictionary Invented the Word No)
[Merlin || Arthur/Merlin, various secondary/past pairings]
Warnings: Slash. R rating. Fluff. Every romance movie cliché in existence

In order to win back the affections of an ex, Arthur has gotten himself caught up in a bet to transform the socially awkward into the socially acceptable. Features evil!Sophia, clueless!Merlin, kind of a hippy!Hunith and bit-of-a-tart!Will (in short: the highschool!AU that steals the plot from the She's All That movie)

30. Out of Our Shells
[CWRPS || Jensen/Jared, Mike/Misha]
Warnings: Slash. NC17 rating. Crack.

CWRPS Teenage Mutant Pre-ninja Turtles. That is also set in high school. IDEK.

31. Driving Around Chasing Stars (tentative title is currently very tentative!)
[NCIS || Tim McGee/Tony DiNozzo]
Warnings: consensual sex between a sixteen year old and a twenty-one year old.

High School AU. In which Tim McGee is given the car of his dreams, crashes a college party, watches his father go to war and meets cocky college senior Tony DiNozzo.

32. New Day Rising
[Jericho || Jake/Heather, Stanley/Mimi]

A time-travel AU. Sent back in time, Jake Green has successfully prevented the September nuclear attacks. Armed with the memories of nearly a year of events that haven't happened, he must pick up his life and find a way to fix relationships that are once more broken. This story covers the 48 hours after he returns to San Diego, when he has to face down an old adversary from Ravenwood to save Freddy’s life, get Agent Hicks off his back, and land the job he walked away from last time. Meanwhile, events are also moving forward in Jericho, and Jake must begin to regain the trust and respect of his father in order to help Stanley and his other friends back home.

33. Legacy
[Supernatural || Dean/Castiel]

Castiel Novak is a social worker, still struggling to get over his mother's death. When he almost drowns following a car accident, only his rescuer Bobby Singer believes there's more to the situation than it seems. With the help of Singer's adopted sons, the Winchesters, Castiel confronts his past and his future. Sam and Dean learn more about their own family at the same time.

34. Outside Under Broken Leaves
[The Three Musketeers || Olivier/Claire (Athos/Milady), Olivier/René (Athos/Aramis) other pairings]
Warnings: Mention or description of all of the following: Domestic violence, general violence, dub-con, divorce, OCD, policework, murder, smoking, drinking, slash, het, guns, works of art, jazz, Interpol, and one serial killer.

A modern-day AU of Dumas's 'Three Musketeers'.

One for all, all for one.

"I am employed to understand the mentality of drug barons, murderers, fraudsters,and the general gutter-scrapings of most of Europe, and then I convince them I am just like them."

Olivier de la Fère and his detective partner, Isaac du Vallon, are working at the Sûreté under Captain de Treville, solving cases along the lines of insurance fraud and the theft of massive amounts of sunflower oil - until de Treville decides they need to readjust their world views and start work on a homicide case under the monumentally dull Detective Gervaise Dufay.

Interior undercover agent René d'Herblay, forcibly and often protestingly included in the group of Sûreté friends who include cold case expert Kitty Rodin and de Treville's daughter Constance, is also forced to change his world views, during the course of which his trust and faith in his partner Claire de la Fère is irrevocably destroyed as her marriage to Olivier disintegrates.

Forced by Isa to admit that his loyalties now lie outside the Interior, René finds himself without a partner, with the world's worst housemate in the form of a slowly and painfully-divorcing Olivier - with whom he has, against all his better judgement and completely inexplicably even to himself, fallen in love - and working undercover in Rome with the journalist Armand du Plessis on his trail.

35. Delirien
[Shakespeare - Henry VI plays || Richard of York / Duchess of York, Gloucester/Eleanor Cobham, hints of Margaret/Suffolk and Henry VI/Margaret.]
Warnings: More disputed wills than strictly necessary, Epic Legal Fail (Chancery), violence, gratuitous Shakespeare references, and an excess of Strauss. Also WWI-era violence, trench warfare, and some profanity.

Theirs was a golden world.

In the giddy years of the early twentieth century, the families of York and Lancaster seem to have come to an uneasy truce when Humphrey Lancaster befriends young Richard York and offers him a chance to mend his wrecked fortunes. What neither of them anticipates is the war that will destroy everything they know.

This AU transposes the events and characters of Shakespeare's Henry VI, Part I to Edwardian England and follows the York and Lancaster families as love, lies, and fateful choices conspire to fracture this careful peace on the eve of the First World War.

The fic contains an excess of waltzes -- some more dramatic than others -- strong female protagonists, World War I-era violence, major character death (as per the source text), and a lot of filling in of empty spaces in the source text.

36. My Immortal
[Criminal Minds || Hotch/Prentiss Gideon/Prentiss though it really is more general, the story doesnt focus on the pairings.]
Warnings: Character death.

When her mate is kidnapped by the government for lethal experiments, vampire Emily Prentiss enlists the help of FBI agent Aaron Hotchner to get him back before reapers come calling on an almost century old blood vendetta against her family.

37. The Baking Angel
[Supernatural || Dean/Castiel, Sam/Gabriel]
Warnings: Schmoop, implied sex, high calorie content.

Castiel and Gabriel have been running their bakeshop for thirty years, waiting for the Vessels to show and signal the end of the world. When the waiting ends, the two brother angels find their loyalties -- and their world -- changing. Romance, brotherly love, and a hefty dose of brown sugar.

38. Lay Flowers on My Yesterdays (tentative)
[Marvel 1610: Ultimates || Stephanie (Steve) Rogers/Gail Richards]
Warnings: Violence, Genderswap, non-explicit Femslash.

Captain America, the hero of WWII, is a national icon who disappeared in the North Atlantic and was declared KIA. What few know is that the hero was really a heroine named Stephanine Rogers, who masqueraded as a man in order to fight. She awakes in modern times and must evade SHIELD agents while dealing with a government that's erased her existence, maintaining her gender identity and facing the loss of everything she's ever known.

39. Untitled (tentative)
[CSI:NY || Sheldon Hawkes/Don Flack]
Warnings: a hint of RPF

It's about Sheldon Hawkes, Crime Scene Investigator, and Don Flack, third-line center for the New York Rangers hockey team. When players of the team are seemingly randomly attacked, and Don is suspected to be involved in those attacks, Sheldon and Don have to deal with how this affects their relationship.

40. Providing Leverage
[bandom || Spencer Smith/Jon Walker, Bob Bryar/Ray Toro, Patrick Stump/Pete Wentz, others]
Warnings: action and slash.

"All Spencer knew was computers and that life was inevitably out to get him. Then his student teacher-- who he might just happen to gave a crush on, so what-- turns out to be a member of a group known as the "Riot Squad", who bring the term 'Robin Hood complex' to a new and extremely unusual (and crazy) level. Oh, yeah, and they want Spencer to be a part of that." Basically: Think the TNT show Leverage combined with Mission Impossible and Ocean's Eleven.

41. The Mind of a Killer (very tentative)
[CSI:NY || Flack/Angell, Danny/Lindsay]
Warnings: Violence, small mentions of sexual assault (but really small)

A serial killer is plaguing the streets of New York, the police have no suspects and no leads except maybe Lindsay Monroe, the only surviving victim. Much to Detective Messer's dismay, the FBI are called in, sending in their two best profilers, SSA's Flack and Angell, but the killer may be more than even they can handle and the price of catching him might be higher than they realise.

42. Frosted Wire
[Merlin || Morgana/Morgause, Morgana/Nimueh]
Warnings: canonical incest (though that isn't a factor in this AU)

Modern AU, a fusion of Merlin characters with the general setting and plot of the movie Cashback. Morgana lives her life always a little bit adrift from it, able to freeze time on a whim. After the break-up of her tumultuous relationship with Nimueh, Morgana fills her resulting spare time with a part time job, where she meets Morgause - the first person she finds she wants to bring into her frozen world. But first she has to struggle with Nimueh wanting her back, and Morgause not understanding why she feels so disconnected from the world.

43. Dancing in the Dark (tentative)
[Star Trek 2009 RPF || Chris Pine/Anton Yelchin is the main pairing. Also heavy on the Zach Quinto/Zoe Saldana. Bruce Greenwood/John Cho is a minor pairing, and there are various incarnations among Zach, Karl, Eric, Zoe, and Anton. Simon Pegg also has a little cameo with Zach/Zoe.]
Warnings: Lots of D/s. Pain play, bloodplay, rough sex, and some very limited discussion of child molestation/abuse (not a focus of the story).

This is a vampire AU set in the present day. Karl and his three children (the vampires he's turned) Eric, Zoe, and Anton live in a house in the New York suburbs along with Bruce and his childe John. Zach, Karl's sire, also plays heavily in the story. The focus is mostly on Anton, who's only been a vampire for three years, and his burgeoning relationship with a mortal (Chris Pine). Chris introduces Anton to BDSM (Anton subs) and ends up moving in with the vampires. It's sort of a vampire coming-of-age story that focuses on power play, control, and mortality. And there's a bit more porn than plot, with heavy D/s themes and the like.

44. The Ballad of Legally Blonde and the Housewares Employee (tentative)
[Legally Blonde: The Musical/Evil Dead: The Musical || Elle Woods/Ash Williams]
Warnings: Some blood, gore and demons. Y'know... the usual stuff that comes with Evil Dead.

Elle recounts the story of how she met "the knight with the shiny hand". It's a story of break ups, demons, cults, picking colors for a dog salon and finding love in the weirdest places.

45. Though Memory Imperfect (mostly set but possible to change)
[Doctor Who || Doctor/Rose, John/Anne, one sided Martha/Doctor]
Warnings: Implied sexing, fictional amnesia, some violence

When the Doctor and Martha Jones went into hiding to escape the Family they ended up in 1913 and the Doctor traded his own identity for that of the human John Smith. But they are not the only mysterious figures at the school, there is also the servant Anne Young who remembers nothing of her life prior to five months earlier.

Coincidentally, five months earlier (and a hundred years in the future and in a different universe) Rose Tyler was investigating a case for Torchwood that left her missing in action.

As John and Anne's relationship progresses to romance, Martha attempts to intervene and stop it from developing further. Eventually the Family does track them down, and John and Anne must rediscover their true identities in order to defeat the deadly enemy.

46. ... and baby makes five [tentative]
[Bones/NCIS || Brennan/Booth, Tony/Ziva]
Warnings: babyfic; spoilers through S3 of Bones and S5 of NCIS

Dr. Temperance Brennan wants a child. After her FBI partner, Seeley Booth, turns down her request to donate sperm, she turns to a Washington DC sperm bank. When her child develops a medical problem, Brennan must track down the biological father.

Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo of NCIS has had a rough couple of years but things are finally turning around and going right for him. Will a blast from his past screw it all up?

47. Rebuild the Bridges in Your Mind
[House MD/X-Men movieverse || Robert Chase/Jason Stryker, some mention of Chase/Cameron]
Warnings: I'm giving it a PG rating for gruesome medical stuff, but otherwise no warnings.

Chase was a student at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, but time and personal differences mean that he's estranged from his former friends, the X-Men. Now he moonlights as a doctor for vigilantes and mutants at a clinic in NYC, but he's juggling so many secrets that his past is sure to catch up with him soon.

48. The Ties That Bind
[NCIS/Syfy's Alice fusion]
Warnings: No real warnings except that I'm playing fast and loose with NCIS canon. There's some disturbing imagery early on in the story and there is crime scenery later but nothing overly graphic.

Set after the events of Syfy's Alice. When Jack Heart, King of Wonderland, is accused of murdering his wife, Duchess, he flees through the Looking Glass to the only person he knows can clear his name. On this side of the Looking Glass, Abagail Sciuto, forensics expert for NCIS, is hiding a past that is coming back to haunt her courtesy of her little brother, Jack.

49. Right Where We Belong (tentative)
[Supernatural || Dean, Ellen, Jo, Castiel, Sam]
Warnings: Angst, violence. I feel like I have to mention here that Dean is mute in this fic.

When John dies, Dean ends up at the roadhouse and is brought up by Ellen as Jo's big brother. Growing up there is no protection, though -- not when the apocalypse is about to start.

50. Shifting Sands (tentative)
[SGA || John Sheppard/Elizabeth Weir]

Caravan master John Sheppard's life gets more interesting when he meets the Lady Governor of Atlantis, Elizabeth Weir. 51. Touch Of Grace
[Magic Knight Rayearth || Hikaru/Lantis, Fuu/Ferio]
Warnings: Smut ensues at one point? It's not NC-17 or 'OMG! Too much anatomy!' so I think...veiled R is the right warning here.

After defeating Debonair, the Magic Knights are informed by their Rune Gods that it's time to go back to their own world once more. Desperate at the thought of never again seeing their loved ones, Hikaru and Fuu use the power of their will to bond their souls to Cephiro.

[Star Trek Reboot || Kirk/McCoy, possibly Spock/Uhura and/or Sulu/Chekov]

A White Collar-inspired Trek AU. But even he is baffled when Kirk pulls out a bold escape few months before his sentence is up. Could this be a beginning of a partnership? Or of something more?

53. (A House Divided) Cannot Stand (tentative)
[Transformers || Megatron/Optimus]

Megatron, a slave and former gladiator in a Quintesson ruled Cybertron is dieing after fleeing a failed rebellion. After offlining he awakens to find himself, repaired, in a worker's quarters. The worker turns out to be Orion Pax. Megatron, in the firm solider-con belief that all workers are whimpering slaves, promptly attacks him. Orion manages to tell him that workers are created without the ability to be violent by the Quintessons, and Megatron's anger shifts to the Quints. Orion offers him sanctuary while they attempt to repair him and Megatron learns more about the workers - and becomes convinced that there is a rebellion going on. And that Orion is part of it. Orion, meanwhile, is trying to convince himself to take a chance on trusting a con. Things come to a head and Megatron offers to share his soldier coding with Orion. Awkward interfacing turns intimate, and Megatron discovers Orion is the leader of the rebellion. Intended to be first in a series.

60. A Greater Compliment (working title)
[Doctor Who]
Warnings: spoilers for all of Charley's run just in case: set post-"Blue Forgotten Planet"

When Charley Pollard accepted an undercover assignment from UNIT to investigate mysterious goings-on at Henrick's department store, she didn't expect it to bring the Doctor back into her life (though perhaps she should have). Before you can say "fantastic," they're dodging hostile aliens together again, but this isn't the Doctor she knew--either of them--and the difference this time goes deeper than a new face and new personality. Only after an accident reveals the grim truth of the Doctor's recent past does Charley realize that the biggest challenge facing her has nothing to do with invading monsters. She's got to worm her way back into the hearts of a Doctor who's lost his faith not only in her (because of the way he thinks they parted) but also in himself.

When TPTB decide to kill Elizabeth's character (diplomat Dr. Victoria Higginson), she tries to make the best of it. It's the last shot before lunch on her last day of shooting and the three of them get ready to walk through the brand new Stargate set piece. President McKinley has been assassinated at the 1901 World’s Fair - Lord Fuller thinks songcasters were involved. The Guild has also recently acquired a lost grimoire, the fabled Chronomicon - can Cook unlock its secrets? When they called in an assassin to take care of the job, they didn't just want his death. They wanted him betrayed first, wanted one of his own team to pull the trigger so he'd know the sting of it. Of course, they paid for the best. Eliot Spencer wasn't cheap but he was thorough. But what happens when the two men find something they both thought was beyond them? What happens when the two unlikeliest men in the business find a connection?
