Well, the sex happens quickly for two reasons. Even though they hadn't seen each other in a few years, they'd wanted each other the entire time and neither was far from the other's thoughts. Especially Severus who "didn't think" about Harry every single day. So the falling into bed so quickly seemed natural to me.

And the second reason is because I really enjoy writing the characters as masculine as possible. I know that sounds silly since I usually write Severus as long-suffering and angst-ridden, but men do usually do fall into bed a lot quicker than we the fairer sex. Add the love factor and there you go. Hopefully.

I'm glad you enjoyed the fic! And yes, it was very satisfying to write, especially since I'd waited so long to write it.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful review. It makes me happy when someone takes the time to say what they enjoyed (or what raised their eyebrows) about something I write. I really appreciate it. : )

That was fabulous. One of my favorite movies and you gave it a fresh spin. Even though you know the whole story it is still an enjoyable read. I loved how Harry and Draco didn't exactly kiss and make up.

I so enjoy your writing.

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted Draco and Harry to be friendly enemies, not exactly hating each other but not real friends either.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I like this story very much: The idea to bring the subject into the Harry Potter universe, Snape's wish to leave Hogwarts, which is frustrated again and again, his reluctance to accept how much he actually did for a lot of students, his problems in accepting help an solidarity from his colleagues. I also like how everything is solved, when things look bleak, how Harry and Severus never give up, Malfoy's villainy. I also find delightful how Albus and Sirius watch everything from above, and how Cedric earns his wings. Thank you for writing this story.

I just finished reading this and wanted to tell you just how much I enjoyed it. I'm a big fan of It's A Wonderful Life and the world's biggest Snarry fan and the way you rewrote it with Snape as George Bailey was genius! I'm sitting here with a big stupid grin on my face and tears in my eyes. I think knowing all along that Snape was going to be continually disappointed in his life, that something terrible was going to happen, and then knowing how it would end with him finally getting recognition for his sacrifices from not only everyone else but also accepting forgiveness and happiness in his own mind.... it just built the anticipation for me. Because it's what all of us that are in love with Snape want for him, right ( ... )

Oh, I also loved that Snape is a closet Cure fan. LOL! The thought of him angsting to 17 Seconds cracked me up. It should have been Pornography, though. (Do I have to mention that I'm a big Cure fan, too?)

I imagine Severus as being a big fan of Muggle music. He just hides it in the closet where he thinks Harry doesn't see it. : )

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I love the kids in It's a Wonderful Life but they're a bit much at times. I kinda joined George Bailey in being annoyed at them when they're all so perfect. Everyone says bless you at once, everyone says 'Daddy' in the cutest voice ever.

I actually really enjoyed writing flawed children. You know, normal ones. It was one thing I insisted on (to myself) in order to write kids.

But anyway, yes George Bailey is one of my favorite characters. Going through the journey with him every year was just something I had to do with Severus. They're so similar, I think, and it was so much fun to write.

Thank you for your very thoughtful review. : )
