So lately I've been doing this thing where I dig though my CD collection for music that doesn't get much attention from me anymore but I liked at the time. I then listen to these records while I cook, unload groceries, or empty the dishwasher. I then usually rip these records to my computer. There's a guy on American Idol right now who basically tried to remix a Diana Ross song to "make it his own...more electronic." He's doing poor man's JT moves on the stage.

I'm not digging you, I just hope you get far enough to sing a Jamie Lidell song.

So the latest round of exams came back. I scored As on my management and IT midterms, and I got a B final on my econ, so I'd say this midterm round went pretty well. Econ gives way to Managerial Accounting. The prof is giving off this vibe of poisoned honey. Ick ( Read more... )

I'm failing my investments class.

On the other hand, it felt good to get a couple of rough mashup sketches down in Acid, including my first shuffle-beat mash. Also my economics course doesn't suck anymore since we got to game theory.

Just keep running.

So almost on an impulse I'm going to host my first Super Bowl party this Sunday. This will also be the first party that either Jake or I have thrown in the apartment. I sent out the invites to my classmates and a few others earlier tonight. I'm on the east side of MI right now with Kathy visiting family on my Mom and Dad's sides . Later today I'll head to Ann Arbor to visit my stepmom's family and then Kathy's family. This past week was my finals week. Some exams (marketing) rocked, others sucked (supply chain), and still others (finance, stats) I just can't call.
