Wow. I don't know why no one else has commented on this.
I like this - beautifully and powerfully written and true to HDM in its themes. I thought the unusual format with the sections getting shorter by one word was very clever. Great epilogue to the series (if you can rightly call a story that spans 53 years and 'epilogue' *g*).

Yeah, I was a little depressed when the person I wrote it for didn't even comment, but then I found the HDM comm through another person.

Altogether, not bad at all. Some parts I like very much, some not so well; but I think the author has an admirable grasp of the stories. This is shown in fine details like Lyra going to hers and Will's bench, for example- an event that seemingly has nothing to do with this story, but adds significance. Anyway, enough of my chatter, I'm just saying "great job"!!
