FMWS Izumi Personality:
Izumi is a calm person, who manages to keep his emotions hidden no matter what the situation is. While others panic, Izumi just stays still and thinks about what to do. On the inside, he might be just as panicked as the others, but he doesn't show it to anyone. Sometimes his composure makes him appear a little scary, since he seems to lack emotions. He likes to keep it this way, since he isn’t a person who opens up his heart to people. He’s actually afraid of doing that. Even if someone would express their feelings to him, he wouldn’t accept them, because he’d “just get disappointed again”.
While he appears to be emotionless, he really isn't. He does enjoy a number of things and even feels happy when, for example, someone does something for him. Izumi just has problems in showing his emotions well. That’s because most of his life he's only been through painful things which hasn't really given him any reason to smile, at least not genuinely. It's mostly made him bitter and cold towards life, since he hasn’t been able to escape from his memories from the past that show him only how cold people can be towards their close ones. That's why he rarely smiles or laughs - genuinely or at all. Maybe one day he will be able to smile and laugh from his heart, but he doesn't really see that day coming too soon.
Izumi also has a small sadist side to him. If he hates someone, he's most likely to show that to them. He likes causing trouble and sometimes perhaps even pain, especially to his enemies. If he wishes to be playful he gathers "Kirai points" (Hate points) from all the things the annoying person does and then decides when it's time to use those points for "rewards" - which include pretty much physical violence. His sadism doesn’t show only through pain alone - it can also be through his words. He doesn’t mostly care if he hurts someone’s feelings and sometimes he actually does want to hurt them.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strenghts
+ Self-confidence: Knows he'll succeed in what he's doing
+ Good composure: Remains calm under most any circumstances
+ Fearless: Isn't afraid of much anything, so he can do almost anything a bit challenging
+ Strong will: Doesn't back down easily
Weaknesses
- Lack of empathy: Unable to place himself on someone else's situation
- Appears emotionless: Doesn't really know how to show emotions
- Fear of Feeling: He's afraid to open up, afraid to feel happiness
- Caught in the past: Can't escape the memories
- Tends to run after tossed items: even as a human, old habits die hard

[The video opens with a blonde boy, looking at the screen. Izumi has finally managed to figure out what the device is and how to use it.]
I fail to see the point of making videos… but if this will explain things to me then I’m willing to give it a try.
[He clears his throat. Somehow this talking to himself thing didn’t really suit him. At least there wasn’t anyone else around]
If there’s anyone seeing this video… I would like an explanation of how exactly did I get here. I got a handbook of sorts, but it doesn’t answer that basic question at all.
[The handbook is on his hand, still. He doesn’t look too impressed by it]
I guess it’s useful to know that the animal that popped out from the ball is a Pokémon, but I’d still rather know what you did to accomplish this - or at least how to change the music…
[... or where to get earplugs. But that was only if the other questions would remain unanswered]
Explanations, if you’d be so nice. Otherwise I might need to start giving out KP.
Third Person Sample:
It had taken a while for Izumi Rio to get used to the new place. Being a human again, after so many years, had been quite a new experience. But here he was. He had no dog ears or a tail and he was in a weird room that had stuff for him. And he had no idea how he had gotten there… or why. The latter question was the part he wanted to know more than anything right now. But since the really informative letter didn’t tell him anything, he thought it was better to leave the mystery to the part where he could meet his so called boss.
Instead of thinking too much, Izumi had tried the clothes he had received. They actually fit him. So they even knew his size. That was quite creepy… so he chose not to think about that either. The whole place was creepy anyway. The music there was repetitive. The song hadn’t changed during the time he had been in. It was getting rather annoying.
Then there was the device he had received. He had tried to identify what it was, but still hadn’t really figured it out. It’s not like he was good at technology anyway. So he had just tossed it aside for now. When he’d leave, he’d take it with him and hopefully someone would be able to tell him what it was for.
Lastly, there was the red and white ball he had gotten as well. He hadn’t really paid attention to it until it he had looked at all the other things. Now he was finally examining the ball, trying to figure out what it was for. Then he accidentally presses the button and something comes out of it.
“What…?”
A pure white Pokémon stands before Izumi, looking at him rather curiously (even if it probably just looks vicious). Instantly, he recognizes Izumi as his partner as he greets the boy by saying “Absol.”
Izumi just blinks and nods. This place was indeed quite strange.
