Sean easily tracked down the the room Jay was singing in. His hearing seemed to just focus in on her voice sometimes. He silently crossed the room to sit down. He sat down in one of the armchairs in the room, tucking his legs under him, chin propped on his hand when his eyes closed to listen to her voice fill the room. There was just something about Jay's voice, it was so filled with emotion he could almost feel it against his skin.

Jay paused once that song was finished, her eyes opening to check one of the strings before she started on another, the first few notes falling from the strings before she noticed she had company. Though she ought to have been surprised, Jay only smiled sadly, embarrassed that she got caught in such an emotion and moment.

"I hope I didn't wake you or anything." She offered, keeping her place and watching Sean in his.

"Nah. You know I love listening to you sing." He leaned his head back against the back of the chair and gave her a lazy grin. "Plus, I haven't been sleeping well lately anyways, so spending time with you is a pretty good compensation for sleep." It was the time of year that Sean always had a hard time sleeping, haunted by nightmares half remembered.

He studied her guitar for a bit. "That's nice, your guitar."

She held the old hunk of wood up for inspection, spinning it slowly in her hands to give it a look over herself. "It's old, but it does it's job." It was the only thing she had brought back from Kentucky, the clothes she left in the same as what she wore upon her return.

Flicking her eyes back to Sean for a moment, she raised her brows in query. "You know you can wake me up whenever you need, right?"

Darwin heard the music from where he sat in his room, a large book of poetry laid abandoned beside him. Whoever it was, they were good. Damn good. Finally, his curiosity got to him and he stood up and followed the sound to the room.

"You're really good."

He leaned against the door and smiled warmly at the girl. Lovely, wings, red head, he guessed she was the infamous Jay.

As soon as Jay heard another voice, her fingers paused over the strings of the guitar, waiting for either a verbal attack (from the likes of Alex) or something uncomfortably honest (far more Erik's and Charles' trade.) When it was a simple, honest compliment, she looked up in surprise before continuing, the music quieter as she spoke.

"Thanks... I've been playing for a bit." She looked him over for a moment, he wasn't new new, but he wasn't familiar neither... "Do I know you?"

He slid down to sitting and shook his head. "Probably not," he admitted "I haven't been here for a long time and it's been fairly hectic since I got here." He took off his hat and set it on his lap. "I'm Armando. Most just call me Darwin. You're Jay, right?"

"The wings give me away?" Jay asked, a semi-embarrassed smile crossing her features. She was still working on being okay with wearing them out and about in the 'safe' setting of the Mansion.

"I'm told it might not always be so busy, but it is good to meet you either way Darwin."
