To Giles, life was starting to just feel back to where it was. By no means was he not thinking about Niks every other hour of the day, but at least his span of attention was back to his duty as Watcher. There needed to be an order once again, getting the Slayers back to training - baby with more veteran - and the Watchers also back to training WITH their Slayers. There was much work to be done on both fronts ( ... )

It wasn't often Andrew suffered from writer's block, but the few times he did, his pens suffered dearly. He was stuck on trying to figure out a metaphor that was truly worthy of all that was Solace to finish up his entry. As he got to pondering, his pen was suddenly saved from further mastication when a blur of tweed caught Andrew's eye.

Andrew wasted no time in getting on his feet and gathering up his things, and it wasn't long before he had tracked Giles back to his office.

"Good morrow, Master Giles!" Andrew nearly tripped over himself as he launched himself through the door of his senior Watcher. "Mister Giles," he quickly corrected, along with his footing. Normally he knocked, but today there was no time for such formalities!

Andrew only got a good look at the state of Giles' office only after inviting himself to sit down in one of the chairs at his predecessor's desk. It kinda looked like some poor book had gone and barfed paper all over, which was a true sign of a Watcher hard at work. "You're not busy, are you?"

"Hello, Mr. Wells," Giles greeted the young man. "No, I'm not busy at all. I'm just about to formulate a training plan to run by all of you." After stacking the books he had brought in, he adjusted his glasses and gestured over to his hot pot that already had a pot waiting. "I'm just about to drum up some tea. Would you like some?"

He opened up his drawer to gather the things he needed. "Now, tell me what you need, Mr. Wells and how I can help you..."

"Earl grey, hot," Andrew's voice had dropped several octaves when he had given Giles his initial reply, but after fidgeting slightly in his chair, his normal tone returned. "I mean, yes, please, I'll have a cup of whatever type you've already got a steepin ( ... )
