Giles had been putting an official regime together for both the Slayers and the Watchers. Both would need guidance but of course, Wesley, Alex, and Niks would have to approve what he and Buffy rallied together to create. He sat back, studying the first of his notes, wondering if he should place Faith there first or maybe go with Solace instead.

There were footsteps right outside his door, making him look up in time to see a familiar face stepping right into his office and plunging right into a spiel that almost sounded rehearsed.

When Andrew was done with his monologue, Giles studied him for a good 30 seconds before smiling. "Nice to see you again, too, Andrew," he told the young Watcher. "Why don't you have a seat and we can calmly discuss your return here. Welcome back, by the way. It's good to have you here. I'm sure many of the girls will be excited to see you and also, another Watcher."

Wesley checked his watch once more. Damn. He was late for his meeting with Giles. Going over some notes the older watcher had drawn up after a meeting with Buffy and wanted to go over with the other Watchers. Both Miss Thompson-Wright and Miss Riley had said to be busy. Wesley had the suspicion they were both avoiding the other Watchers. No doubt a backlash from what happened during the whole Raz incident where Miss Riley had revealed something rather unusual about herself as well ( ... )

Andrew wasn't really ready for a pleasant talk-- because in his mind he had calculated the top ten worst things that could happen ever. He smiled wide, and felt a strong flush come over his cheeks by the time Giles had finished. He'd use the term Watcher to refer to himself. That was good ( ... )

Apologies for the delay! wearing_tweed October 2 2008, 02:24:38 UTC
Giles regarded Andrew as the once enemy sat there, looking a little nervous. When it came down to it, this young man pulled through during the fall of Sunnydale. "Yes, I'm sure a celebration of some kind would be in place, just not so sure it would be us."

He looked up when Wesley entered and gave him a nod as a greeting to his fellow Watcher and Englishman.

"Wesley, it seems Mr. Wells has come to come under our wings of Watcherhood." He smiled back at Andrew. "We might even assign you to a Slayer and everything." He looked back down at some of the notes. "You've come just in time. We plan to have an assembly of both Watchers and Slayers, and evaluate exactly how to train not only them, but ourselves."

Andrew breathed a deep sigh of relief, glad to hear that there was no dire situation looming over his or any of his friends' heads. At least, no more than usual. No big evil super villians, just the regular one shot guest stars ( ... )

So sorry for delay... Oi wearing_tweed November 2 2008, 03:41:08 UTC
Giles stared at Andrew as the young Watcher began to babble on about charts and uniforms. Uniforms? Oh, my... Giles was tempted to let Andrew throw that idea out there just to see the look on Buffy's face. He was quite positive it would be priceless ( ... )
