SPNJ2BB 2011: The Maiden Voyage of the S.S. Bad Touch
Last SPN art post of the year! Thanks to 
sunspot for being so enthusiastic about working with me, even when I decided to try a new style.
Which leads me to a caveat: While I can design and can use shapes to create icons and logos in Illustrator, freehand work or even tracing is not my forte. Proceed with caution is all I am saying.

Summary:
Take one demon and add an angel. Subtract their powers and strand far from humans. The math is conclusive. It's time to get off the island.

The cover art is in a very different style than the rest of the pieces. Its file name was actually ya.psd because it reminded me of the YA novel covers. But I liked it too much to not include. This is the one I would really recommend clicking through on, as there are a lot of details which might not show up on the preview image.
Ruby panel detail.
Cas panel detail. As these originally were intended as separate pieces the perspective and light doesn't work, but overall I am happy with the way these three came out.

Ruby surveying the island. This is one of the first pieces I did.
Cas setting out to explore. This one took me all of 10 minutes but came out exactly as I pictured.
One of the moments I liked in the fic was Cas drawing an Enochian symbol in the sand to ward off bears. I actually used an Enochian font as a base, however this only includes the words 'go' and 'bears'.
Cas and Buddy, who is not a monkey.
Ruby and Cas bantering is one of the cornerstones of the fic.
