He concentrates for a moment to make at least his fingers tangible enough to give the little thing the scritch it had obviously been looking for, before withdrawing his hand and looking up at Skyfire curiously.
"Idunno," he offers with a shrug. "Your guess is better than mine."
A moment later, however, his expression takes on an odd, far-off look before he turns to Skyfire.
"I gotta go, Skyfire. Sorry. You need anything else from me?"

"No, you've been more than helpful. Go and do what needs to be done. I'll have to figure out what to do with our little friend here."

With that, the translucent Seeker nods thankfully at Skyfire, and then vanishes.

It appears to be someone's domesticated vermin hunter--it's quite adept at running through ducts and clearing out rats and larger organic vermin, it's relatively bright, and it does not act like a wild animal in captivity. The question is, what to do with it? It is not dangerous to us, and you do have a rat problem in the base. //
