Oh, fine, I'll just wait to find out (which will be FOREVER, because I'm borrowing it from a friend, and she only has up to...number 10, maybe). I just find it disturbing that one of Furuba shipping predictions I made that squicked me the most might have turned out to be, you know, true...

Haha, I can spoil you if you really want, but it's better to be surprised. I've read the series start to finish. I sincerely doubt you'll be squicked when you understand the context. The important thing to remember about Fruits Basket is that nothing is as it seems. Natsuki Takaya foreshadows like Joss Whedon and she's damn good at keeping you guessing. There is a realism to Furuba that you don't easily find in manga, and rarely is anyone in real life truly evil.

I really enjoyed your Kyou/Tohru fanmix, so had to download this one. I really like Shigure/Akito, and from a quick glance, you made awesome song choices. Can't wait to listen to this. ^_^

I always have thought of their relationship sort of like when you see a car accident. You know it's going to be bad, but you can't look away. I usually like twisted complicated relationships like their's. I agree with you, there was never really anyone else for either of them, and I'm pretty sure they both knew that on some subconscious level.

Fanmixes are crack. Music + fandom = OTP. Sigh, I'm still in Kyo-like denial about the series having ended. I was only able to read the final chapter through once before my heart broke and I pretended IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL I SEE A COMPLETE TRANSLATION, LA LA LA LA. I wasn't even this heartbroken over Buffy and Angel ending, and I'd been loyal to those fandoms for years. (Fruits Basket holds a special place in my heart as the first manga, well, the first COMIC, to ever grab my attention and not let go.)
