...This time about Octopongles. Here is footage of an Indonesian Veined Octopus using coconut shells as protective cover.  It's freaking adorable, especially when it picks up the shell and walks on tippy-toe.

I have a real soft spot for Octopiddlies; they're insanely smart; personally, I think they're smarter than dolphins.  Certainly you never see ( Read more... )

I  watched Web Soup yesterday, and they showed a YouTube video of a Slow Loris[1] being scritched under its arms, which elicited coos of joy from me (not the loris - they buzz or chitter). They are adorable.

However, they NO IZ PET.

Someone on Shakesville called H1N1 "Hamthrax".  I love this so much, I'm stealing it.

...and washing my hands a lot.  And wearing a gas mask to hand out candy on Saturday.
