My car's battery was dead. The charging system is faulty somewhere. In order to get it to a shop, I needed to charge up the battery somehow so that I could drive it there.

WIN. A quick Google Products search reveals that typical street prices for this unit range from $50 to $80.

Sounds like good customer service to me.

Ya. I was pretty much resigned to getting one from Amazon for $55. The maunfacturer's list price is $85.

$22 for a remanufacured unit in 3 days? Oh yeah.
