Still no couch!

My folks brought that freebie couch by yesterday...due to a mis-measurement it didn't fit in the door after all. *Grumble* So, I'm lying on the floor to work today, and M intends to go couch shopping this weekend.

I'm afraid I don't have any advice about couches, other than to shop w/ a tape measure (my own couch is pretty big, but suprisingly smaller than it looks where doors are concerned).

You do have a weirdly small door, though...

I really do need to! Hmm- my parents are still here this weekend, and I'm visiting a friend in NY the following weekend- after that I at least have no commitments that come immediately to mind, though I remember a bunch of stuff being posted on suspects, because it's that time of year.

I'm hoping to have some sort of housewarming party in November or so, when I have the place in some sort of shape (I'm being slow, but there is also contractor stuff still.) That's weeks out, though, so I'm assuming you'll be more comfortably mobile by then.
