Tyler, it should be noted, had not been all that drunk.

In bed with Tony, but not drunk.

Mostly, he'd been trying to get his feet back under him. Plus "hey, just so you know, the world didn't end," was a message that made him feel like a moron.

Still. He owed her that much. He picked up his phone and dialed.

Ghanima glared at her phone. "I still dislike you," she complained, reaching out to pick it up with her fingertips. "You are not even a very smart thinking machine, merely loud. At least the Danger Shop is useful."

Still, she pressed the button for 'talk' and tried not to get her hopes up. 'Atreides.'

"Durden," Tyler said, trying to swagger a bit in his voice. "You might want to write this down, Ghani. World didn't end."

"You are both grounded for that stunt," Ghanima replied, feeling a little more tension uncoil from behind her eyes. "Both of you owe me pizza."

"You, because you let the Evil Twin call, and him for making me worry."

Biff had spent the time since Sunday drunk or in a pizza-and-bacon coma.

Or sleeping with women.

But that was pretty standard for Biff.

He finally remembered to call Ghanima back.

This time, Ghanima remembered what caller ID was, and checked it before picking up. "You took your time."

Busted, Biff, but in her defense, she was actually on the phone with you when you went. Ghanima had been traumatized.

"Bacon came back!"

That was not an excuse, Biff.

"There is only so much bacon you can eat," Ghanima pointed out. "That is not an excuse."

Still, it was good to hear his voice. "Did you find any nice willing adulteresses to share your bacon with?"
