When you have a cold (as I do) with great sneezing (which I have) and a very runny nose (hey! come back here!), it's probably not the best time to read The Stand.

Yike, no, it's not! But it might be a good time for PDQ Bach's Iphigenia in Brooklyn. Oops, wait, there's dying in that too. But only of fish, so not as scary. The relevant part starts at 6:30, if you want to skip right to it. [passes chocolate to eat while watching/listening]
