I'm agonising over this culminating task assignment, where I'm supposed to make up a task to evaluate an organic chemistry unit. Looking at acetyl salicylic acid (aspirin) research... ugh. My roommates are going to watch Up so I might as well join because this assignment is pretty dull ( Read more... )

Man, you draw the best fabrics. By which I mean the most fabricky-looking. Although that veil is more transparent than most.

I may soon be agonising over a presentation I have to do on Tuesday [on Heidegger] ... but for now I'm still just reading in preparation so perhaps less stressed out than I should be. Is dull better than stressful?

Spank you! Fabrics and draperies are my specialty... I love drawing them, but unfortunately, I need a ton of improvement on more basic skills like anatomy. :(

My assignment is just sucky because I have so much to type up and design. I'm through maybe 75% of it, but still have to design the assessment tool part, which is the boringest. I might prefer reading about your guy instead (because you make him sound interesting, lol).

Hey again! There's some more free time as the JP academic year is coming to an end. I must say though that grading through these past final exams were a lot tougher than past tests. I guess that's what happens when I don't put as many questions with absolute answers.

Just thinking about orgo makes me want to do something else. "Up" is indeed the superior choice! =D

Your doodles are fantastic to look at as always. It looks to me as if this woman is heading out to do something mischievous. Ah, I see the title now, which makes sense as to her seemingly powerful status.

Anyway, last month was the meeting to share our future plans on whether or not we'd re-contract. As planned considering there has been no drastic fall in the economy (except for Toyota =/ ), I'll be going back to the USA in August. You really need to come down to New York some time! There could be a time I head up to Toronto too. Who knows?? =P

Hey! Thanks :) It's great to hear news from you guys again. I can't believe the school year passed so fast. In April you'll be getting your last batch of students. Doesn't that feel nuts? But it's funny to think that the next time I see you will be out of the familiar context of Toyohashi.

What are your plans for after you get back? Anything in mind?
I'll be visiting NY in May/June, but I guess you won't be there then, which is a bummer. I'll be in TO the rest of time, though, until September, when I'm planning to make the big move to England. (The travels are not over yet...)

England?! Wow! You are really hopping around the world, eh?? How long do you intend to live in England?? What will you be doing there?? I assume you'll be teaching. What prompted this big move?? Is it because of "The Tudors"?? Be honest. j/k =P ( ... )

I'll be teaching science at the secondary level... I'm almost done getting that blasted certification. I'll stay maybe 2 years, but it'll really all depend on how well it goes. If it's great, maybe more, if terribly, then maybe only 1. As for why... seemed like the best place in Europe to relocate, too. I won't have to learn another foreign language, at least, lol. (I've only seen the first season of the Tudors, btw!)

I actually spent New Year's in Montreal with some good friends. It was a lovely time. But since I'm moving back to Toronto in a week for last practicum, I'm expecting my mum to be stuffing me silly. MMmmm.... so hungry.

Hunting for acting jobs sounds really exciting! Good luck with that.
