I protest on behalf of all calicos! Calicos in the south are traditionally thought of as kind of crazy, it's true, but I had a calico that had come from the north and she was the sweetest, most mellow thing on earth. (I will also defend Siamese to the death as well. The appleheads are much less fruity than the wedgeheads are. Their brains haven't been genetically squeezed into too small a container.)
