Came on amothea's rec and loved the vid. Anything black and white is a hit with me, but I particularly liked seeing things that went down for other people (Rodney, Ronon) being shown as an influence on John. Thought that was really effective, and one of the best John vids I've seen. Very nice! Great song.

I really loved how the b/w ended up looking too.

I particularly liked seeing things that went down for other people (Rodney, Ronon) being shown as an influence on John.
I wasn't sure if anyone would really get what I was doing with that, so double-plus awesome for me! ;P

& thank you, I'm glad you liked it. ^^

I was halfway through the video thinking 'this is too dark' and 'where's the color?'. I kept expecting it to shoot from the darkness to technicolor brightness. But I have to say, I'm glad it didn't. It so works. The editing and overlays and effects used were spectacular. The scene selection and imagery used in conjunction with the music and lyrics are just perfect. Wonderful vid!

Y'know, I seriously considered going to color, right at the beginning after Sheppard activates the self-destruct and it goes to Repli-Atlantis launching... very happy I decided against that.

And thank you very much for the comments on the editing and overlays, it's always nice to hear someone appreciates the work you put into it. :)
