Calvin took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes and the back of his nose as he powered down his console. McKay had been in an awful bad mood this afternoon. Actually he'd been in a bad mood the last few days and took it out on everyone breathing in the lab. ( The Ancient pieces of tech he'd handled were the only ones he hadn't shouted at. )

Chuck knew that Calvin would be coming back soon. Now that he and Traan had finished their meal, they were both getting ready for his return.

He had taken a shower and made sure that he had cleaned himself thoroughly.

After he had dried himself Chuck pulled out a clean pair of boxers, black BDU's and a black t-shirt. He put his boots tidy in the corner of their room and walked over to just in front of the door, stood to attention and waited for his master to return.

Traan had waited until Chuck left the bathroom before he went in to prepare himself for Calvin's return.

He took a long shower and cleaned himself thoroughly as Chuck has done before him.

After he had dried himself, he pulled on a pair of black leather trousers and a black waistcoat that was tied at the front with laces. Like Chuck before him, Traan remained barefoot.

Steadying his breathing Traan went and stood beside Chuck and then knelt down with his arms by his sides and his head bowed.

Calvin's grin grew broader the closer he got to his rooms. No, their rooms. He'd have to talk to Dr Grodin the next day, to see if they could get bigger rooms. A single room for three was getting a bit tiny. There should be enough rooms left now, and he assumed that the Ancients weren't living like monks. There had to be bigger, more comfortable rooms ( ... )

Chuck looked down at Traan and then remembered that Calvin had said that they both should be kneeling. He didn't want to dissapoint his master. It still felt strange to call him that but it felt good. Without another thought, he knelt down beside Traan just as he heard the door begin to open.

Calvin nearly dropped the tray as the door opened and revealed Traan and Chuck actually kneeling next to the entry. He quickly looked around in the corridor, then entered. Not to imagine what people might think if they saw this.

He was touched, and more than thrilled. "Oh, wow," he mumbled, then collected himself. He walked over to the table and set down the tray. "I see you've been waiting for me."
