Tim had been sleeping soundly when movement jostled him into semi consciousness. Maybe he was just dreaming something moved? His brain felt like it was filled with sludge so it was hard to tell. He felt relaxed but also like he’d been through a workout and he had an odd taste in his mouth ( ... )

Miller wasn't looking at him. That was bad, but at least the man was speaking to him. "Ah, yes. Um... G-good morning. A-are you all right? I m-mean, I d-didn't..." Ridley buried his face in his hands. "God, I am so sorry!"

Tim felt himself cringe at the other man's distress. What exactly had he done to Parrish? Memories of hot, tight, slick heat wrapped around his cock gave him that particular insight and he had no memory of using a condom. Bareback, they'd had sex bare both times. Tim would have started swearing like the marine he was if Parrish weren't sitting beside him like he'd blown up his greenhouse.

"Look, Parrish...I take full responsibility for what happened and I can assure you that it won't happen again," Tim said trying to sound in control and he hopefully sidelined the question about being okay. There was no way he was talking to Parrish about his ass or why it felt like it did.

Ridley blinked owlishly at Miller. "T-take responsibility? I don't... I shouldn't have..." He shook his head. "It was my pot."

He wasn't sure his thinking was entirely plain in that statement, but he was still too befuddled to be clearer.

Tim didn't miss the look Parrish gave him but what else was he supposed to say exactly? He couldn't say he didn't enjoy it or want it so he had to go with neutrality. It was the safest way to retreat because he sure as hell couldn't advance. "Parrish, I was in full agreement to smoking and I apologize for my actions," Tim said cringing at his own words. It was at times like this that he wished his ancient gene could magically transport him away. This was a bad situation no matter which way you looked. Tim felt himself panic but shoved that feeling down. Had he been loud? Did Parrish yell his name so that they were heard?
