Carson and crew entered the infirmary like a hail storm. The others would be triaged. Duvall would get priority and so would Gall. Those suffering the

The tech-- whom Jack was pretty sure they'd borrowed from the biology department-- patted his hand and gave him a smile. "Almost done!" she announced cheerfully.
Just then, there was a burst of activity and Jack could hear Carson's distinctive voice ordering everyone around. The tech glanced back toward the main infirmary area and then smiled as the machine stopped humming. "Done! Let's get you back to your bed and I'll get this report to Doctor Beckett as soon as he's free."
"Don't hold your breath," Jack quipped as he sat up slowly.

Carson had noticed the Athosian healers approach and he greeted them warmly. He was terribly thankful for their help. "Thank you. As you can see we're a bit over run. If you wouldn't mind, could you look at the folks over there?" he asked as he pointed to a group of people that had been rescued. "Those folks are mostly dehydrated but some are having other some mild symptoms of mistreatment," he explained to them. Carson felt confident that they could help those people and maybe even identify where most of them were from considering they were an unknown group.

Carson nodded to Elizabeth as he made his way to the new group. He did note how Laura and Even seemed to clump together and worried how best to separate them. There probably wasn't a good way to do it, but still it had to be done. "Laura, can you look at me? Lass I need you to let go of Major Lorne and go with Dr. Heightmeyer. She's going to take your vitals and place an I.V. and do a medical assessment for me," Carson explained gently and calmly. He'd called in Kate the same time he'd called in Pat. Granted Pat was scary and Kate had not as much practice as some folks, but it was the best he could due. He knew that no harm would be done and they could get more people settled.
