Day 53, afternoon; Athosian Quarters; attn: Tim, Ridley, others (F)

Tim had radioed Parrish about his need to change their lunch plans and was glad when the other man offered an alternative plan. He would need to try and make it up to Tormin, though. After all, he was a man of his word. He made his way easily enough to the area designated as Athosian and looked for Parrish or Tormin.

"There is Lieutenant Miller!" Tormin called, jumping up and down when he spied the military man.

"Calm down, ekse," Ridley said, stepping to the doorway of the common area and waving. "We're in here already, Lieutenant."

Tim heard his name being called and saw Parrish and Tormin. The boy seem excited to see him and that eased his worries considerably. Walking over to them, he said, "Thanks for the change in plans."

"Not a problem," Ridley answered, leading the way into the room where various Athosians were setting the table for a shared lunch. "Can you say anything about this mission you're going on?"

"All I can say is that it's a recon mission and that I might not get back in time to fly you to the mainland," Tim replied, apologetically.

[ridley_parrish]

Ridley sighed. "I sort of figured as much. Well, I hope it's important."
