Peter figured the more he finished, the quicker he could get back to his duties that brought him into contact with Elizabeth. He was lost in thought about his conversation with her at lunch so he didn't see Rodney until he bumped into him.

"Careful with the head of sciences," he noted as he reached for the other man's shoulder to steady himself. As the other man looked at him, Rodney noticed it was Peter Grodin, who gave him a goofy grin. Unable to resist, he grinned back. "Hello, Pet, um, Dr Grodin. Are you in a hurry?"

"Wool gathering," Rodney repeated with a sigh. "I wish I had time for that." He frowned. "I had to get out of the lab, all this writing emails is driving me bonkers. I need to get some work done," he said, rolling his eyes. "Don't get me wrong," he elaborated. "I don't want to belittle Elizabeth's work, or yours. But I prefer working with my hands." He lifted his kit to underline his words.
