Chuck wandered up to Traan as he saw the Major walking out of a room in the company of three Athosians.

"The rumor that's going round is that Dr Zelenka took a gun and shot the Wraith worshipper that was being held in the cell. Not sure where those three come in to it though." Chuck said quietly as he stood close to his lover.

He was finding it all hard to take in. "It's incredible. I didn't think he would do such a thing."

Traan put his arm round Chuck's shoulder and in hushed voice replied, " I do know that the three Athosians that you saw with your Major shared a bed with a Lantean. This must have some significance for your Major to come and speak to them like this"

Then as Traan looked at Rumi, Jendar and Oramo he said, " Looking at their faces I do not believe that it can have been something good."

Juvah listened to the explanation the two men gave as she stood beside Traan. She knew the Lanteans had different rules concerning relationships than did the Athosians, especially those who were warriors. She remembered Major Sheppard and Major Lorne explaining that they had to keep their love a secret because they were both men in the warrior caste of their people. Perhaps the Lantean who had shared a tent with the three was also a warrior and had not kept it a secret. It seemed horrible that Major Sheppard might have to punish a man for a thing he himself was subject to, but to keep his secret he might have to.

"Do you suppose the Lantean was a warrior and is in trouble for sharing their tent?" she asked.

Chuck looked at Traan and Juvah and said " It's possible but I have a feeling that everyone is turning a blind eye to that sort of thing at the moment. I think that this is something that goes a hell of a lot further than that."

A horrible thought went through Chucks mind, " Ok, I may be wrong here, and I really hope that I am. But if that Lantean was a Soldier, a warrior as you called him Juvah, then he may have lost his gun. Well you never know. Radek had to get it from somewhere."
