Ridley had made a circuit of all the tables, embarrassing himself a few more times interrupting couples while inquiring after Tormin, but his adopted son was nowhere to be seen. Tim headed towards the mess in hopes of getting his interviews started. He figured that since it was around lunch time, he might be able to set up times with multiple people and maybe interview at least one of them. The quicker they got their facts straight, the better.

Tim was almost run down by Dr. Parrish as he tried to enter the mess and he found himself reaching out to steady the other man. Running into the other man might not have been such a bad thing. After all, Parrish was on his team. "Okay, Parish?" he asked, concerned.

"Oh, yes. I'm sorry, erm, Lieutenant," Ridley said. "I'm just trying to find my, ah, son, Tormin. He's run off. I was hoping he was just hiding in the mess somewhere, but he's not." He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose in frustration.

Tim remembered the boy from the snowball fight and of course the incident with the gun. The kid seemed spunky. "Why don't I pitch in? He couldn't have gotten very far," he said, calmly.

Tim considered finding the boy a great way to team build, but of course, a movie would be a lot more fun.

"Oh! I... would appreciate that, Lieutenant," Ridley answered, surprised. He didn't really know the man all that well and hadn't quite adjusted to the village atmosphere yet. "I'm trying to figure out where he would have gone. Possibly back to the Athosian area. Or maybe the greenhouses."

Tim smiled at the other man's surprise. He didn't have much contact with Parrish up until now, but after a fashion, they were going to become very close. He hoped the whole team would be cohesive. "Is he playing hide and seek or did he wonder off?" he asked. On one hand, he knew kids like to play games and on the other, that they tended to wonder.
