Given that Watson arrived in the middle of the crisis and stayed there quite a while, followed by a large group doing infirmary clean-up, it doesn't narrow it down much at all. But if there were records kept of who had a sidearm among their personal effects, which were returned to the armoury and which to the patient, we can compare names with the armoury list and get some idea of who might have come into possession of Dumais' weapon.
