"Um, sure, don't mention it," Rodney gave back, actually blushing a little at Radek's praise. He was suddenly painfully aware that his grin must be tale-telling, also the fresh smell of soap and deospray. Things had been a little tense between them. He wasn't sure if Radek felt as bad as Sheppard (and Rodney still wasn't over the sandwich analogy), but he wasn't keen on letting things get worse. "I'm also looking for an excuse not to have a look at the log file from the beam out yesterday right now," he said with a grin.

Radek felt a smile tug at his lips almost in spite of himself. "You too, eh?" he asked knowingly.

Rodney pulled a face and rolled his eyes. "I had a look at it this morning," he explained. "And didn't find anything of value." He frowned. "I think I may have Kavanagh have a look at it."

"Oh, well," said Radek with a smirk, "if that is how it is to be done, then perhaps I will have Simpson go over my data."

Rodney replied the smirk, then turned serious. "I will, of course, have to review Kavanagh's results. Not because I don't trust the man. He's really the most anal-retentive person I know," he shook his head. "And if there's something in the file, Kavanagh's the man to find it."
