Day 26, Mid afternoon. Weir's office. Attn: Weir

After Teyla had cleaned herself and eaten some lunch, she once again took the bowl of fruits and headed out into the city again. She greeted people she recognized as they passed in the hallway, on her way to the control tower.

When she arrived she saw that Dr. Weir was indeed in her office and she walked to the door, knocking to announce her

Elizabeth looked up from her electronic paperwork at the knock on her door. She wasn't really seeing the words, thinking more about her future-past self in the infirmary, and so was grateful for the distraction.

"Teyla," she said warmly. "What can I do for you?"

Stepping inside, Teyla placed a handmade pottery bowl full of fruits on Dr. Weir's desk.

"There are many Athosians who wish to give you a gift. It is a small token of our gratitude and appreciation at being given a place to stay and access to the Ring of the Ancestors to continue talks with our trading partners."

Elizabeth picked up the bowl and turned it carefully. "Thank you, Teyla," she said, admiring the workmanship. "Thank your people for me, as well?"

"I will do that. And if I may offer some advice about the fruit? Do not eat it too quickly until you are used to its effect." She gave a cryptic smile at Elizabeth before sliding out of the office.

Elizabeth blinked as she set the bowl on her desk. She'd just save the fruit for another time, then. After she'd asked Teyla or another Athosian about the side effects of the fruit.
