Day 6, Noonish, Parrish's Quarters, Attn: Dumais, Whoever Wants to Interrupt

The transporter wasn't working when they reached it, so Ridley led Suzanne along the corridors and up stairs to his quarters, his mind still screaming it was a really bad idea to get her alone in his quarters just now. He led her inside. "Not much to see, I'm afraid. I haven't even fully unpacked yet. Sprained my wrist first day ( Read more... )

Suzanne smiled warmly at Lee's admission, nodding.

"Sure, Lee," she said. "Sounds great. But I am going to claim your shower first, because frankly, I don't think I can stand another minute with this stuff on. Do you have some sweats or something I can borrow for after ( ... )

Ridley dug through boxes and found some sweats and a tee shirt that stated "Somebody in Zambia loves me". The sweats would be long, but they'd do till she could get back to her room.

He opened the bathroom door and set them on the counter just inside, not looking... so not looking... and then found himself another outfit as well.

She emerged a few minutes later and he found himself strangely pleased to see her wearing his clothes. He grinned. "My turn then."

Suzanne grinned back, watching as Lee slipped into the washroom. She looked again at the shirt she was wearing, Somebody in Zambia loves me. Wow. Freudian slip or a less-than subtle hint? Whatever it was, she was tickled. In her mind, she upped the number of people in on the rumour that was doubtless flying through the city to at least 2/3 once she was seen wearing this shirt.

Oh yeah.

She grinned to herself, almost giddy. What a day! She decided to wait for Lee before heading off to get her own clothes and then updated on her day. But, she decided, she wouldn't leave without one more kiss.

He showered and dressed quickly, trying not to think about the damage control he was going to have to do with his staff. Well, most of his staff. If rumours were true, Cisneros had spent his first five nights on Atlantis with three different bed partners, but Ridley didn't want to end up in the same category.

He'd dealt with the rumour mill before, though. He knew if he protested too much, it would just add fuel to the fire. Maybe the best bet was just to ignore it and go about his life.

He dressed and stepped out, smiling to see Suzanne had waited for him. "Did you need something, Suzanne?"

"Just this," she said, stepping close. She cupped his face in her hands and drew him down for a kiss, soft and lingering. "See you at dinner?" she asked, her eyes twinkling.
