My dad's 51st birthday is today, so we're taking him to Longhorn for supper. I think I cheered him up a bit because I actually called him to wish him happy birthday this morning. Sometimes I can be remiss in doing things like that. My mom & Brandon & I chipped in and bought him a new grill, which I can't wait for him to grill some steaks on. Mmmmm ( Read more... )

I have an idea for a baby gift, so let me know when it's shower time and I'll send you something that both of you will love, I think. :)

Aww, thanks! :D I'll let you know. I'm sure it will be a while. (unfortunately!) I'm so anxious for all that fun stuff to get here. :)

Oh a baby book? YAY BABIES. I want one.

Anyway, I like your layout. And I like the one you made me. :)
But I wonder why it gets all messed up when I make phone posts, it's weird.

Oh! I can tell you how to fix that. I'm gonna copy and paste this from a comment I left someone else:

Go to the screen where you can edit your layer. Find the "customizing the entries" section. Scroll down until you find this:

#Print the entry text.
"""$e.*text"""; (it won't have the asterisk in the middle of it)

and replace that portion under "#Print the entry text" with:
$e->*print_text(); (without the asterisk)

I have to stick those asterisks in because it won't print in a comment without it for some reason.

And that should fix it! Let me know if you need anything else. :)

Ah! Thank you so much. As if I would ever figure that out myself, lmao.

I'm so glad you like it! I wish I'd had one when I was pregnant with Beth, because as you said, some of those details are pretty foggy eight years (well really, nine years) later! At least I was pretty faithful in filling out her baby book. Still, your lil' one will love reading about some of your 'pregnancy stuff' someday!

Mmmmmm, Longhorn....
