I had my first appointment yesterday at 3 p.m. for the baby. They did that always fabulous pelvic exam (blech), and actually did an ultrasound to try to determine the due date, but my uterus is tilted, so they have to do the more invasive kind sometime next week. Sorry you are feeling sick. I never was with either of my girls.

With my youngest they did a pelvic ultrasound... gross. So, yeah they could see her better because she right there... but, wow uncomfortable.

I need to send you my books on babies... as I won't be needing them anymore. Do read what to expect but then read (the book I will be sending you) called 'The Girlfriend's Guide to pregnancy'- It's more of a 'friend talking to friend' book... I LOVED IT!!!

And yeah, I'm pretty well dreading the ultrasound next week. I have a feeling it's going to be horrible. Ugh. I'd rather just wait a while until she could see better on the regular ultrasound, but oh well.

I'm sorry you've been feeling so bad. :( Hopefully you'll feel better after the first trimester. I never had 'morning sickness' (lucky me), but I was sooooo sleepy for the first 3 months! I had to take a nap every day that it was possible, and that's not normally 'me.'

I finally bought what I've been wanting to send you yesterday. And, I found my What to Expect the First Year that I'm going to send with it. I'll try to get it in the mail by this weekend or the first of next week, so be expecting a package from Alabama!

Did you watch American Idol last night? I was so glad that the songs they did were not actual Barry Manilow songs but ones he's remade. Chris was my favorite as usual. Kevin needs to go!

Aww, thanks! :D I'm feeling the love around here lately.

I've been sleepy too, and taking naps. I am NOT a nap taker at all, so it's been strange. I always feel kind of...off...after taking a nap, so I've felt weird lately.

Yeah, I watched last night and I was glad too that they didn't do Barry Manilow songs. Yuck! It was still kind of boring though. Kevin definitely needs to go. I can't believe he's not gone yet. I think Paris was actually my favorite this week, and Mandisa, but I still loved Chris.
