I just ordered a new computer, because our laptop has decided that it likes to spontaneously cut off at any given moment, and that is just highly irritating. So we opted for a desktop this time around. I can't wait till it gets here. New computers are always fun

I think Melissa (the one who destroyed the Heart song) and Kiniek (sp?) will be going home tonight as Simon predicted. He does it every time.

Do you think that he already knows which girls/guys he wants in the final 12, so he intentionally picks 12 others that he knows will never survive to the finals??? I'm thinking about David the crooner in particular. There was no way a Frank Sinatra-singing guy would ever win, so why send him to the finals? I'm not a David-hater or anything, but what was the point unless 'the powers that be' knew that he would be one who definitely wouldn't make it to the finals, thus securing someone whom they favored a spot. Same thing with the chick who ripped the Heart song. I never really thought she had a chance. Make sense? Me neither. :-p Hmmm, I think I need to get a life...I'm analyzing a show I swore I'd never watch again a tad too much, eh

You know, you could be right about that. I mean, some of those people, like you said, are obviously not good enough to win. It's either that, or there just aren't many good people out there. I mean, I think they definitely try their best to make it work out the way they want it to, but I still LOVE to watch it! ;)

I'll definitely take your advice on the vitamins. I go for my first appointment on the 21st, and I'm sure she'll put me on vitamins. I've gotten plenty of unsolicited advice from many sources, and I appreciate all of it. :)

Oh, I still love to watch it too. I was just pissed last season when Bo lost to Carrie, and I swore I'd never watch it again, lol!

How 'bout that comment Simon made about favoring Kelly to last season's winner? Scott and I both said, "OUCH!" Good one. Still don't think she'll win, though, because I don't see two blond country singers winning in a row.

I need to search for an AI icon to use on lj. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

...should probably actually do some work first, though. ;)

I couldn't believe he said that! Although I do agree. I think I like her better than Carrie myself. And I don't think she will win either. I'm still sticking with my prediction that Chris will win. I LOVE him! :)

oh no they di'int! I only saw the girl sing 'alone' but I keep hearing they're doing heart songs and I'm like...why am I not watching this show? But if they're wrecking it then I never want to see it, ever.

Yeah, Heart songs seem to be the thing this season. Actually, Mandisa sang Never a few shows back and that was really good, but this girl just butchered What About Love. It hurt my everything...

YAY new computer! What kind did you get? (and I won't flame you for not getting an apple, lol)

I've been thinking about going to a new church... sort of.. if I can find somebody to go with me :/

Haha, well, it's def. not an Apple. It's a Dell actually. I just like their website. I forget what the model # is, but it has a 160GB hard drive, 1 GB of RAM, the best video and sound cards I could get, and Microsoft Office Basic (because I hate hate HATE Word Perfect). So it's a pretty good one. I'm just so SICK of my laptop.

What kind of church are you thinking of going to?
