Dangerous Ladies <3

A nice take on what Ty Lee's childhood was like, and how she gained Azula's favor. The last part is chilling- you got Azula's characterization down perfectly.

Thank you so much! I hadn't really written about Ty Lee before except in passing, so I was incredibly nervous about it -- I'm glad it worked for you! (Same goes for Azula, come to think of it...I usually just write about Mai!)

Oh MAN. I loved this a ton. I think this is one of my favorite Dangerous Ladies fics.

I second the comment above: wonderful take on Ty Lee's childhood. I also really like the way you write Azula, and the three girls interactions in general. Great fic!

As I said to her, I was actually really nervous about writing this because I'd never spent any time in Ty Lee's head before. So I'm relieved to hear that it rung true to you! Thank you so much! <3

See, when Ty Lee said she had six sisters I assumed she was part of septuplets. This makes more sense...poor Ty Lee, though. :[ I love the ending lines, about her, Mai and Azula being spiritual sisters.

Yeah, you know...when I was sitting down to plan this fic, it occurred to me that even with modern medicine it's incredibly hard to carry six babies to term. This solution seemed a little more likely, particularly given that all of them seem to have lived long enough to reach their teens.

And I'm really happy to hear the ending worked for you. <3 <3 <3

Oh, I love this a lot! I think you've done an incredible job getting into Ty Lee's head here - how much of her cheerfulness is practiced, and how much her need to be special shapes her. (I love your description of her family, too; it makes a lot of sense.) And I really like how you write the three of them together, and the careful balance of their interaction and the bonds that keep them that way. The Dangerous Ladies are one of my favorite things about Avatar, and you've captured a lot of the reasons why.
