It's all right, as long as it doesn't happen again ^^; (Well, I mean, not like you can stake out every A:tLA icon comm and make sure that your icon doesn't look the same, but... eh, I doubt it'll happen again just by chance.) Like I said, the cap itself is hard to crop in an interesting way (I've tried making an icon from it before and it ended up having pretty much the same crop), which was the main reason for the benefit of the doubt.

And I spend far too much time with this LIMS. XDDD It's my baaaby.

I must confess: this has been an interesting experience for me as this is the first time that I'm participating in a LIMS-type of icontest and it's a very mind-opening experience to see honest critiques of my work. It's made me examine my own work and realize the potential flaws in my icons. At the same time, I must say that such comments haven't deterred me from looking positively at my own work, despite that fact that I continue to get negative comments. I must say that I liked the icons I entered, especially last week's entry as well as this week's one, and, I dunno, getting upset and overly dramatic over something as trivial and as fun as icons seems stupid to me. So, this, for me, has been an interesting, fun experience and I just wanted to let you know because I've never really commented afterward. I admire you for taking up so much of your time (during AP season, no ( ... )
