Tuesday Wake Up Call

Oct 12, 2010 08:45

So, the other day my dryer started smoking and set off the smoke detectors in the house. I immediately unplugged it, turned on the fans to remove the smoke, and the next day cleaned out every possible lint hose or trap I could think of to see if that was the issue. Still, when I turned it back on, smoke. So I called Sears Repair and set up a ( Read more... )

Always a good morning when Chick-Fil-A is involved, no matter how much lint is in your trap!

this reminds me of a story cristalskye October 12 2010, 14:20:53 UTC
of a house of bears that owned a hot tub.

when the service guy finished with the hot tub, he stated that the dog should not be allowed in the hot tub as the hair will clog the filter and damage the motor.

of course there was no dog in the household. :)

Tammy, thanks for your message.
It was a seamless repair job, and the tech could not have been nicer or more professional. It took him over 3 hours so the chick fil a run was shot, but I'll live. ;-)
I was extremely happy with not only the service but the price I had to pay to have it fixed.
Highly Recommend

Dryers are so friggin' cheap that I'd presume they'd be cheaper than the cost of a call-out fee, labour and parts!

Unless, of course, you have a super-duper awesome industrial type dryer!!!? :-)

You didn't even mention whether the tech guy was cute or not - I'm guessing, by this omission, that he wasn't... LOL

A) Not really cute
B) Was only 224.00 to fix, so definitely cheaper than a new one
