Software development hurdles

A recent question made me think about software development processes and how I think about them.

Info: I make my living in that area and teach programmers the ways of the sharp "C". I am not a manager (yet) though. To me, it is important to know WHAT you are doing just as much as the various HOWS.

Very interesting read, bud.. One of our C++ guys is toying with some C # code of late.... he's been programming ten years though..

Thanks - C# is a bit different from C++ though. Careful not to fall into the "let's do it the same way as we always did" trap - it nips you in the behind usually :P
