Just wondering- what kind of 'stereotypical old' behaviour did you expect, that it would be hard to handle? I generally like being around elderly, since they're often more kind and less rushed than younger people.
I did enjoy *that* kind of behavior of course. But around here, most of the elderly people one meets are grumpy and self-centered all the time. Also they consider themself to be gods gift to the world and "those young people don't know anything" attitude. That's what I consider "stereotypical old people". You know, the "Get off my lawn!" kind. I know that the majority isn't like that, but whenever I have to be close to elderly people, I brace myself and mentally prepare for the worst :D
