Sadly, I have read all those fics. No new KakaSasu for me. :(

That said, thanks for the rec! I'm always back and forth on that fic, and sometime I want to rewrite the thing, but I'm glad you liked it.

I know... The Kakashi/Sasuke fandom is not as large as let's say Naruto/Sasuke but I thought maybe we needed a rec list for newbies so the could see the greatness of this pairing. Would you have any reccomendations for the list?

Oh, I liked that story best of most of yours probably up there with 'Three Years' and there is another one I can't think of at the moment.

No problem. I did design this for the new Kakashi/Sasuke shipper in mind. We are a very small fandom and I wanted to bring the best of it out for show! I hope you like it.

As you have obviously read a ton of Kakashi/Sasuke stuff, I'll ask you a question: Have you ever read/seen any that had more of a SasuKaka vibe, or where the power balance is pretty equal, rather than uber-KakaSasu? I really like the idea of this pairing, but not in the very shota "Kakashi is daddy and boyfriend at the same time" way that most fans of the two of them write it, and I've never managed to find a fic in this genre I liked.

Anyway, if you have any suggestions, they would be much appreciated. :)

Okay, I have thought over what you are asking and I just a little bit confused. You want to stay away from shota? And you do not want it seme Kakashi and uke Sasuke but more Kakashi/Sasuke equally? I need a fiction example of what you are trying to avoid then I can get an idea of what you are looking for.

First of all, I'd like to apologize for taking a freaking month to answer you :x I managed to totally lose track of this post and forget to bookmark it, ugh. So considering how ridiculously long it took me to get back here, feel free to just ignore me if you want. ^^;

Though an older Sasuke would be a bonus, I don't really care about their actual ages; I'm just wondering if there's any fic out there that has a dynamic different from the "all-knowing Kakashi guiding/controlling both Sasuke and the relationship" vibe one sees so often in KakaSasu.

As an example of what I'd want to avoid... Gelfling's Laundry was recommended to me at one point as being a great example of the pairing, but I found it disturbing (that is of course the bad kind of disturbing, not the good kind, LOL).

You mean a fic where Sasuke isn't just a boy in need of a strong hand to show him the right way, but a growing person with his own thoughts and ideas, sometimes even showing part of the genius he's known for in the anime? *laughs* I know what you mean. I think that it's a general thing about Sasuke as an Uke, no matter the pairing. He tends to lose that spirit and the strength of character he does have
