Canon GaaSasu is droolworthy, but hard to work with. I keep seeing AU fics. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but it's so much more fun to see them in their own world - there's enough twists right there to keep most any writer happy. *nods happily*

Glad me and you agree. It is kind of hard because I really don't know THAT much about Gaara, but I write/read Sasuke all the time.

Oh, there is NOT enough GaaSasu! I'm really liking this story so far; the premise is one I've not seen before, and even though he's not in this chapter (I read all three and am just now commenting) I LOVE your Jiraiya. I also love the insight into Gaara's motivations - it really seems plausible.

Oh my god, I love Jiraiya too. It is is a matter of honor to do him justice. I am trying for plausible believe me, I got so tired of reading GaaSasu stories that are never finished or are AU Highschool, so I promised myself I would finish this.

I'm not a big fan of the high-school AU stories - some of them are really great, but then those spawn ones that just...aren't. And I'm so glad you are planning on finishing this, because it's awesome, and because it's very gripping. I need to know what happens next! :D It's like a drama on TV, or a thriller or something.

Well, if you liked it half as much as I liked writing then we are definitely on the same page. I loved writing chapter one the first and second time. Hated writing chapter two but it was a must. And just loved three, I swear I must have sounded like a crazy person talking to myself (I talked out the speeches.)
