With the tests out of the way and Carson working on his analysis, Teyla puttered around in her room, trying to tidy up a bit. Not that her room needed cleaning, but she was expecting company and she wanted to make the other feel at ease

Showering and changing after her shift in the infirmary, Jennifer made her way to Teyla's room. Gently she knocked upon the door, letting out a sigh as she waited. The past couple of weeks had been a little strange, but none topped last night for her. Being turned into a man wasn't as bad as last night was.

Teyla answered the gentle knock with a tentative smile, stepping aside to allow the young doctor in.

"Good day to you," she said, more for the sake of saying something, since it was obvious that Jennifer was having less than a good day.

"Hey," she gave her a brief smile before stepping inside her room. "Thanks for having me over," she said softly and took a look around Teyla's room.

"How are you?"

"I am well," Teyla replied. "I have been busy, what with all the things going on, though I'm sure I don't know the half of it. I've been spending most of my time covering people's duty-shifts in the control room when the need arises."

She sighs with a weary smile. "We don't get together enough, possibly. We Athosians tend to have social visits like this regularly, as a means to stay connected to each other and keep appraised of the situations in the village and to give support where support is needed." She gestures to the room at large. "Please, make yourself at home.
