Stephanie does a better southern accent than Amy

Watching the Angel episode "Apocalypse, Nowish" right now, and when Lilah is faking Fred, James and I both realized that Stephanie does a much better accent than Amy. Heck, something that always bothered me was how Fred loses her "accent"

Amy's accent is natural; Stephanie's is not. What is probably happening is that Amy has a TEXAS accent, and you're looking for a GEORGIA accent.

It's more like it seemed like she was using a different accent when she first started the show, but as it went on, it kinda disappeared. I remember her being from Texas, so I knew she would have some kind of accent.

What probably happened was she started with her natural accent, and as time went on she lost her accent so she could pursue other roles, so then she had to try and put it back on but didn't pull it off.
