Writercon was extremely fun in 2006, because you get to meet everyone! They have panels and stuff as well, but for me it is the reunion of all your friends that makes it the most fun!

You know I'll be there. Haven't decided if I'll crash with my brother or get a hotel room. Probably stay at the hotel. It's more fun being there all the time. But I can hopefully get him to take me to and from the airport.
