Tumblr alarms me. Mostly 'cause I don't like the sort of change where people move out of the neighborhood, or where I have to. Also, because the internet is too big. :)

I feel very similarly about Tumblr. I can see how people might like it for certain things, but for long-form text conversations it strikes me as quite awkward... I don't know. I'm definitely getting crotchety as I get older. *g*

I'm slogging along on the dissertation, and otherwise having a fairly amusing. :) Drop me a line next time you're out this way if you have time to get together. (I entertain fantasies of someday actually traveling to places where people I know live, but that's on hold until I manage to graduate, at least. Which, with any luck, will be a finite amount of time from now.)
